Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a TV host, pastor and an author. He is the President of Believers’ World Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy International.
Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He went to primary and secondary school, then he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU has also conferred on him with an honourary Doctor of Science. While still enrolled at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.
YFC was able to grow to become the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters is in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with millions of members and associates around the world.
BLW became the most prominent Christian ministry on television across Africa, through its atmosphere for miracles programme in 2002. The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005, with the intention of reaching the poor, needy children who are orphaned, vulnerable and living as destitute in the world.
Oyakhilome Children and their families benefit from the foundation’s sustainable and participatory interventions. These include programs for childcare including child development programmes, as well as strengthening of families.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The TraumaCare International foundation was established to increase the lifespan and health status of local communities. The foundation will assist in implementing national policies on trauma care by assisting the advocacy process, health education, and community-based programs.
